The texture is concentrated, dense and structured, with a suave after-taste, a long after-taste of cherries and soft tannins.
This is a powerful wine, very much Châteauneuf-du-Pape like (in its noblest expression).
Best with daube camarguaise (bull meat stew) or daube Provençale, or duck breasts.
